About Us
We are advocates for web3, a decentralized internet where users control their own digital assets, data, and identity. Our passion is to champion web3 as the next cultural, economic, and technological frontier.
The Web3 Association Philippines’ (W3A) is a registered non-profit whose formation was spearheaded by Yield Guild Games (YGG) Pilipinas, one of the largest web3 gaming communities in the world. Our founding trustees are executives from leading web3 enablers in the Philippines (YGG Pilipinas, Unionbank of the Philippines, Coins.ph, and MetaverseGo).
Mission
Our aim is to spread awareness about web3 and advocate for industry growth and technology adoption through education, research, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
We hold proactive consultations with relevant stakeholders and push for collaboration between regulatory bodies and the web3 industry. We believe that the Philippines, as a top web3 adopter, will become a global leader in this space. Our intent is to grow a genuine network and community of companies, investors, founders, advocates, and enthusiasts that will champion the industry’s interests and establish the country as the epicenter of web3 adoption in the region and the world.
